What is Enlightenment?
Question from a Reader:
Hello Folks,
And hello Shafin! My question and response is some what short and straight to the point. It’s basically this: Once a person has gained a very high level of enlightenment about many of the important things in life. Where does that place such a person in regards to everyday life?
He or she still has to work a job, they still have to eat food, maybe have a release for sexual, mental… or enhancement. So while still living in this meat suite, where do the enlightened go from here, and how does this enlightened individual make life count productively while still be subject to the wheel of Samsara, birth and re-birth (life and death)?
That answer could be the real “secret” of the ages.
Theo
My Reply:
Hi Theo,
Strictly speaking, there is no enlightened person, only enlightened activities people do. Some do it more than the others. But no one becomes “permanently enlightened” simply by figuring out some cosmic secret. It’s not a degree you earn; it’s a state of being you need to work pretty hard to maintain.
Nowadays enlightenment is popularly portrayed as some sudden state of rapture usually accompanied by luminous shapes and a profound unity consciousness. True, this is enlightenment; but just like all candles (or for that matter stars) require energy to keep shining light into darkness, that state of unity consciousness also requires energy to stay that way. And that energy comes from constant spiritual discipline and focus.
Now here’s the biggie: it’s actually EASIER (in a very ascetic way) to maintain this so called state of enlightenment in a monastery or up in the mountains far removed from the challenges of modern life! It’s tremendously harder to serve the world in an enlightened way when you have to live in everyday world of mortgage and credit cards, school homework and divorce lawyers. But it is here that we learn the hardest of the lessons. It is here in the every day life amidst people we grow the fastest. Why?
Because it’s ALL God. God is not only found somewhere in Himalayas hiding in a temple, nor in a thousand year old church somewhere in Ireland. God is everywhere and interacting with us through everyone. God is here and now. God wears 10,000 masks. And some of those masks include your mother-in-law, ex-husband, tax officer, boss, brother, sister, lover…
It’s so much easier to stay enlightened when you don’t have to fall in love so madly that you could die for the other, only to be scarred so badly that it hurts to even breathe. Its so much easier to be enlightened when all you have to worry about is your own robe and a rice bowl – yes its simple and its difficult to attain this level of simplicity, but its easier too – its so much harder to act with perfect enlightened attitude when you have to deal with traffic jams and politicians, have a family to feed, children to send to school, and want to take them on a little vacation once in a while so they may smile and grow. Its so much harder because there are so many challenges that come on the way.
Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with the monastic life or people who dedicate themselves to a life of simplicity and strict spiritual pursuits in seclusion. Those choices can be compared with going to school or university. Sometimes we need to study for many years in seclusion or in an institution before we are able serve the world in a bigger and better way. Depending on how much you want to study you may take 5 years or 30 years. But it’s important to realize that it’s not significantly better or worse to be a monk or a stock broker.
You can be a monk or a yogi for all the wrong reasons (fear of dealing with the challenges of the world) and obviously you can be a police man or stock broker for all the wrong reasons too (being driven by never ending hunger for money and power). Both are valid in their own way. But when you live a life of seclusion, it’s definitely easier to maintain a state of rapturous unity consciousness of perfect love and compassion.
I remember hearing a story in a monastery in Nepal (where I lived for a month last year): the story is about this great yogi who lived in a remote cave all alone for 27 years. Finally he was discovered by the village people nearby and they started to offer him food once in a while and he’d give them teachings sometimes. Soon his name became famous and many people began to visit him regularly from villages all around the place. Everything was fine until one day someone invited the guru to come down in the village carnival in the valley below to impart his wisdom. Nobody really expected him to accept the invitation but the great guru said yes.
So it is after 28 years of seclusion, meditation, discipline and devotion, the great guru came down to the village carnival… and then something happened!
Because many people came to the carnival and some of them did not have any idea who the great guru was, there was commotion all around him and mistakenly someone bumped into him and he fell to the ground. Angry, the guru got up and yelled “Do you not know who I am?” And the moment the words came out the great yogi realized his mistake. He asked forgiveness and moved along.
He taught many people in the carnival and when it was time for him to leave, a disciple asked him where he would go now, back to his cave? Could he not stay just for the night in the village?
To this the guru answered, “The days of being in the cave is now over. I realize that my true learning will happen here among the people. It is here that I shall learn what I truly need to learn.”
And so the guru began to live within the people, learning to adjust to the struggles of everyday life, discovering all the hidden aspects of his self that he could not see all this years in the seclusion of his cave.
This story reminds me of a simple truth: God is not just the light, but also the darkness; not just the pleasure, but also pain; not just success but also the failures; not just life but also death. There is nothing that God is not. And I feel that living within people is one of the most effective ways to practice the discipline of remembering that simple truth.
Here’s a quote I read a while ago: “God turns you from one feeling to another and teaches by means of opposites, so that you will have two wings to fly, not one.” Opposites are part of this physical reality; you can’t have light without dark…
Remember: it is the people that cause the greatest “dis-harmony” are the ones that teach the most profound lessons as well. Something I think is valuable to remember on our ever increasing quest to ONLY attract the “positive”. Remember, on a magnet, you can’t have the positive without the negative. No matter how many times you try to chop the negative off.
So coming back to your question “where do the enlightened go from here?”, the enlightened goes no where really but simply realizes that after all has been said and done, its all God, all perfect, all One, despite the seeming two-ness and apparent broken-ness. So where do you go when you are already there? You don’t.
You simply do what you do but never put anyone out of your heart. You play your role in this drama with all enthusiasm and seriousness but you NEVER forget the truth. It’s all One. It’s ALL God. We are ALL in this great journey together. The bad guys are serving the perfect role and so are the good guys. All the obstacles and disappointments in life are nothing but guidance for us to fulfil our chosen destiny, to learn all the lessons we are here to learn in this life time, to be all that we are destined to be.
All the wars and the cruelty, all the disease and the poverty, are simply calls for the heroes to rise, for the warriors of light to awaken and unleash their magical powers, for the timid princes to slay the dragon only to fulfil his destiny to serve as the great ruler…
But here’s a question that the enlightened never forget to ask: “How would the heroes realize they are heroes if the villains never challenged them to arise?” Who then, are truly the heroes? The ones who get all the kudos for slaying the dragon? Or is it the dragon who served the role of the bad guy so the hero could become the hero?
The enlightened do not go anywhere or do anything special. They neither fervently seek the light nor do they remain inactive in the darkness. They simply do what they do – in their monasteries or stock markets, marriages or nightclubs, serving the roles of patriots or dictators, saving lives or killing many – but they never put anyone out of their hearts. They see the unity beyond the illusion of material separation but they act with perfect compassion and empathy. They serve the world but not with the illusion that right now is anything but perfect. They do what they do, wherever they are – prisons, hospitals, carnivals or battlefields – but they never put anyone out of their hearts.
They remember this simple truth – Love is the recognition of God in the other.
And in the end… it’s all Love.

Well put Shafin, I sort of see the world as we are all in the mind of God, because of the simple common denominator in all things which everything is energy, if everything is made of the same original substance than the answer must be it is all the same living spirit moving through an infinite number of forms and as such we can all only be ONE! The same energy that moves the tree to grow is the same energy that beats your heart and beats mine! many blessings to you for spreading truth.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Brewington
Hi Shafin, thanks for your post. I like the story of the great guru. Maybe he hadn’t stayed long enough in his cave to reach an enlightened state. But no, I’m only teasing! Your point is a good one.
Hi Shafin,
My question was how to I function in this world now that I am learning that all that I was taught is not really valid against the true laws of the Universe. This blog post gives me a piece of the answer so I continue to go forward. One thing I realize is that I am forever a student and only a teacher once in a while.
Thanks for sharing.
Sandra
Great explanation and answer to this question, Shafin. Very insightful (or should I say enlightened?) Good reminder that there are NOT two opposing forces in life (good v/s evil)…. but rather ONE force that allows all things to be… to learn… to grow… and to evolve. We cannot know the light without the darkness. They are two heads of the same coin.
Brandon
Hello Shafin,
You and probably your life are a the real proof of what you have beautifully expresed in your answer, and it is the only rewarding attitude, that anyone can easily adopt in their lives, or while serving the people and society.
With blessings….
Milovan
Shafin, i find in your words a lot of wisdom and answers I was looking for long time ago. I´m not saying you are right because I do not know that, but what I´m saying is just thank you.
Great post Shafin, really inspirational. So much can be learn here, each one teach the other. When the student is ready the teacher will apear. Shafin you're truly a wonderful teacher that we all can learn from. Much blessings and may the light continue to guide you. Peace and love.
Hi Theo & Shaffin.
To the million dollar question, where do the enlightened go from here?, here is the penny answer: NOWHERE
Guru and Chela are ONE, light and darkness are One. Here or there is the same place.
The Guru is mistaken teaching how to become enlightened
The Chela is mistaken trying to "become"he light
Truth is: We all are the light. We don't have to become what we already are.
Mr Shaffin is perfectly right when he says at the end of his post that we play roles
Playing the role of a driver, hero or guru or disciple and believeing in those roles as a true identity is living in samsara
Knowing that you are light, knowing this roles as simple roles and living in harmony with all role players is true nirvana
Let us live as true light beings here and now
In light

Enlightened is the Christic light for a highly energetical level ,at this stage of our cycle .The Higher Power gives us this kind of spiritual guidance to rise as much as we can like a human race .The next race it suppose to be made from light , we are the 'bridge' for the next one . This is a deep process that takes time ,our terestrial time from this dimension .Indigo and crystal people ,crystal children have their DNA shifted .In fact, we all have in the pineal gland a little crystal ,they say this process is more active from 1960 because of the water we drink .
May be when Jesus Christ will come here ,again , he will find a new kind of people ,more enlightened by his light .The enlightened process has the purpose to rise our vibration ,spiritual , mental , and from our body ,to shift the old Matrix and to create a new one .
Shafin says right , God is everyehere ,in the city , in monastery , in desert …
This planet needs a new kind of people, enlightened .
Light and harmony ,
Lydia
Shafin Your handling of the question was super. You’re right we need the daily energy to recharge in this world of tempers and temptations. What upsets me a lot is that generally the enlightenment comes much later in life, when we have mellowed down- having hurt, upset and lost so many of our loved ones! Better late…
In my part of the world we are struggling with the meaning of enlightenment- we have for centuries confused true enlightenment with rituals. Very few of us learn to look deeper into the meaning of life- and how connected it is with every living being around.
hi shafin.
thanks my friend, how *right* you are….
my life brought me from europe to afrika, since 16 years to learn and to understand .There are so many * rights* or *rongs* like Stars in a dark nights sky,….in reality all made up ,and not real. To sit under the shade from a tree on a rock with a friend and share a mais crop ,teaches you, we are all One and very spezial enlightend .In reality All of as need food cloth and shelter and must off all Love to live peacefull until we are light again…..Love Angie
Thanks again Shafin!
I once read a saying: 'Before enlightenment chop wood and carry water. After enlightenment chop wood and carry water'.
It's so true that everyone in your life is a blessing, however disguised it may be. Sometimes we eventually recogise it, sometimes not, but there's a blessing in everything.
Thank you for prompting me to ponder this again.
Much love,
Jan
I like to say that I was having a bit of struggle a few months back about living in the world in orther to have an spiritual life, too many distracions.
I also identify a few temting actions that can turn on bad eatin habits, drinking more than I want or hanging around with people who don't do spiritual staff and I find them a bit bland, same dialogues, same story, same business day after day.
I did have the answear that I herad from Shafin, well this is the real world and this is the task, be who I want to be shine as I like to shine with distracions, bad habits, boring relationships and whatever else. I keep on thinking to hide myself anywhere I can think is peace for me when things go a bit too much but I do know the answear now I do know where to be.

I thought we have to enter a state of nirvana,of moksha ……….,when after fulfilling all our desires we become completely saturated, blissful, tript and
free ourselves from the circle of life and death.
My path is to unite with my lover,to merge,to become one and that is where I am going………….after my enlightenment!
Rachna
Before enlightenment, I chopped wood and carried water.
After enlightenment, I chopped wood and carried water.
Enlightenment brings understanding, NOT ELITE PRIVILEGE. Enlightenment came from/through my conscious choice to study the Life and Teachings of Baha'u'llah, the Amit-Abha, the Blessed Beauty, God-Made-Manifest for today…
…and 43 years later I STILL chop wood and carry water.
i would say your answer to the question was very well put,i love it when God is involved it makes it more enlightning.. thank you for sharing that with me ,i hope you know i apreciate you very much… smile ,
The only thing from your answer, that I had a hard time with, is in this passage: "They simply do what they do – in their monasteries or stock markets, marriages or nightclubs, serving the roles of patriots or dictators, saving lives or killing many – but they never put anyone out of their hearts. They see the unity beyond the illusion of material separation but they act with perfect compassion and empathy.", How can an enlightened being, one that acts with compassion and empathy, be one that kills many… I really didn't get that part, could you please go a little further on that? Thanks!!!
Hi Shafin
the truth about enlightenment is well produced in the article and good learning and earning here and life after death lessons, but as the religious conflicts the life after death the enlightened person will prized as pride more than the the ordinary (lay) man,
ALLAH (GOD) gives us the light so that we all go to the right path
Truly
HAMMAD UR REHMAN
Hello Shafin,
This is really enlightnment of the highiest order. This is the word of wisdom that humankind must wake up to and know that God is One, He is here and now, in me, you and everyone and everything else–and not some where in some secluded place we want to call Heaven.
I think that this is the Gospel according to JESUS. BHUDA, MOHAMADE and all the inspired GURUS of history. God is One and God is LOVE.
Thank you Shafin for enlightening the world.
Thanks for sharing.
Robert
i really don't think being enlightened is a normal thing that a stock broker or a monk in Himalaya's can have just like that.now lets take Lord Buddha he was an enlightened.and he went on a long and a hard road to go to that state of being.and he became the perfect being on earth an the heavens.he was the greatest teacher that man has ever seen.he was perfect !(not almost) from his thought to word to his action. and his greatest desire was to help people with compassion and unconditional love.and its not a state that you have to maintain.when you are , then your are.but i believe there are many things us to learn from our own fellow men.and you have to cross those bridges to get closer to be enlightened.
…religious concepts had held me captive for a long time..as God is always good and Devil is always bad..only until now that i feel so free, alive and very happy….thank you my Great Teacher…
Dear Shafin,
Its really inspiring / enlightening.
Thanks a lot and god bless all of us.
Sincerely,
N.Y. Raj
Absolutely beautiful!!
shaffin,
Your coments r logical bt dont u feel that sense of acheivement or cotentment is some sort of enlightenment. Realizations r some times enlightenment..Sacrifices or humanity r the elements of enlightenment. i will even call awareness as enlightenment. God Almighty has enlightened humon beings wid brain & all other systems, to understand the mechanics of life who so ever picks up the code / secret, he is enlightened.
Sincerely,
Sir Buland Ali khan
Enlightenment is a journey not an state a person can achieve forever. In buddhism we learn 10 worlds (hell, hunger, animality, anger the lower four worlds) average person keep going thru from moment to moment.
then a person can try to be in next 6 worlds (humanity, heaven, learning, realizing, buddhisatva, and buddhahood) by controlling over the lower worlds. as a person progresses, and try to remain in 9th. and 10th world, that is suppose to be enlightened state.
Any one can go from 10th world to first four lower worlds at any moment.
Enlightenment is just the state where person can be in higher worlds most of the time.
thank you shafin!
Dear Shafin,
First of all, I would like to express my sincere appreciation and admiration to you! Thank you thank you and thank you!!
I have been reading your articles for months, and this is the first time I decided to leave a comment here. I also took your 7 days e-courses, I should said, all of them are inspiring!!
I admired the words you put together, they are so accurate and it is so well the way you share your thoughts up here!
You call the God, the One and I call it the Higher Wisdom ….
Wish you inner glory always…
Siem
Hi Robert,
I have never read a more perfect, beautiful, yet short and sweet way to explain what to me is the whole meaning to life, love, and world peace. Thank you,
Angie
yes thank you Shaƒin
you really are the goods.
tho I would like to add
god lies within each oƒ us
but whether we choose to seek a god like state or live in the lower realms
is our own personal decision
and I htink that this is where we need help
to be guided or given knowledge
that there are alternative ways to look at liƒe
and oƒ course to live it!
Hi Shafin,
I too had the same instinctive response about participating in a volient manner when apparently i keep no-one out of my heart..would you elaborate please? many thanks, Catherine
when you walk out of the threshold of concepts and there is no heat and you are beyond energy and you are one with the whole call it god, nirvana or moksha and beyond form and thus beyond changes one is in the field of en-light-ment. While writing the preceding i suddenly felt whether my observation is a self contradiction for I am a conceptual being thus my observations too must be formed on sub-conscious concepts. Though seclusion may facilitate initial observation of your streams of thoughts and be mindful without judgement may lead to the understanding of the path of enlightment the same may be possible in all labours of life. If one could keep this moment happy may be you are in the blissful path beyond ego
Well said Jan! I too have read this saying, but it has more meaning after reading Shafin's blog. Thank you both.
Lynn
Absolutely important. Actually God is nature and Nature is God.
hi shafin
i agree abt all the light and darkness stuff..true. but when u say love???hmmm here comes the real stuff. if u love u dont hurt any one so its not that even if u kill some one believing that in your heart u love that very person and by killing him u r just doing ur duty or fulfilling ur destiny, its neither love nor is it true…self annihalation is important to reach the level of an enlightened being may it be by living the life of a recluse or an every day trader it doesnt matter…dats how i know and am walking this path
atifa
I believe enlightenment is the perfect harmony between mind and heart(spirit). There is a true story of a boy who received a heart transplant. His heart gave him reoccuring vivid nightmares. This lead to the discovery that the boy who previously had the heart was murdered with the vivid dreams leading the police to convict the murderer and solve the unsolved crime. the heart and the mind are connected.
Beautifully said Jan….and I too will ponder.
Ron
Ola, Dear Shafin & Fellows.
My thoughts don't mean I am right.
What is Enlightenment? It means wisdom, knowledge, it's the healthy and civilized interaction between the man with the nature and the Cosmos. Whereas the basic principle are respect, toleration, charity, forgive and love.
The Force and the Lightness of Being are among us
God is everywhere, with me, with my happy day, bad day, in the light and in the dark, in the war, poverty and here right now when i am writing this. So, what is the bottom line, live and die within people and within discipline, and enlightenment never goes anywhere, its here, there and its like functional within living.
What we think enlightenment is tells more about ourselves than it does about enlightenment. Religion and Sprirituality are not at all the same thing. If God is perfect – and he would have to be if he were a GOD – he would need nothing, nor would he give anything. Neither could perfection – love. The mere belief that 'God loves you,' indicates that God is man-made. Man created his own anthropomorphic supreme being, Enlightenment will not be found in religion.
Hi, I think I know what your saying, a friend of mine said to me one day , he said , kelly a person who does wrong in society's eyes really could be further along in their faith then someone who does no wrong , cuz depending on how you feel about the situation at hand weather u guilt yourself or not. like forgiveness to yourself if you cant forgive your actions then u practicaly do kill yourself . But at the same time it seem to me that these murders like john gardner who killed 2 teens in san diego. I feel we r not really seeing john at all. I feel if we are truly walking in love, a person could not have the spirit to kill, it just is not natural for us born of the universe. I guess i'm saying I agree with u atifa, personally I love the universal law. I also love the fact we can speak without words. guest
thank you , the above is very well explained and made great reading .
peace upon all
all what happened and all what yet to happen are with God knowledge and permission long before our creation so i believe enlightement is being satisfied with what God decides and what satisfy God satisfy us and there is no good or bad its all good because its all from God.
Well stated, Shafin~ I have expressed this to people in my life many times along the journey and often they do not understand what I am saying. I will reference to this post in the future ~ Thank you for your finely expressed answer to this commonly asked question~
Namaste'~
Keep that optimistic spirit up…it's contagious
God bless you!
namaste, shafin,u can do better than that…
I love this learning,

as always your enriches us and shake us many times, thank you, thank you very much for such a great gift!. . . .

we do things as if what we do and we ourselves are permanent! That is maya. To see behind and see that the great things you did will dissolve, your monuments, boats, relations, and all will be nothing when you lose the tattered body – that death transforms you to something better makes you stay your hand from avarice, pride and ego. All these are the result of the mind that assumes eternity. So the true bliss is seeing the drama unfold and being in it be detached from it. Know that your script is written by the director. You act. but don't become immersed into the character you are acting. Then there is no search needed for bliss. then you are bliss. You are that – god.
What a great lesson on enlightment. It has been said that; In seeking wisdom you are wise; In imaganing you have attaind it: You are foolish. So it is with enlightment. You can only strive for enlightment by doing that which will rise the Soul to a level of happiness and joy. Enlightment is a state of mind. It is pure illumination. To spread your light in all directions. To touch all, no matter if you think they deserve it or not. Enlightment is to touch the face of God. Meresha
Shafin,
A most beautiful illustration of a wonderful journey we all must take in order to find our way home. When we join hands and hearts it makes the journey lighter and the view more picturesque. Bon voyage all.
"One love, one heart, let's get together and feel alright", the words of Bob Marley in his song, "One Love".
We are soul, a divine spark of God. We exist because God loves us. If you believe in Karma and reincarnation you will understand that to be constantly in an enlightened state you need to have a Guru like Shafin to show you the ropes. It is a state you must re-win constantly as you interact with and live among people.
Keep up the good works Shafin.
Hi Shafin,
Too much to read. When enlightenment needs so many words then we are in trouble. Enlightenment is the shift from identification to function. At least in theory, that should be easier to achieve in a worldly life than in a monastery because ordinary life offers more opportunities for that shift to occur.
Hi Shafin,
I really appreciate what you're saying…but I wonder…if we are all here to serve a purpose and we all serve it so perfectly then what is there to say about the mother who loses her child, the husband who loses a wife, or just the people in general who never seem to find themselves or their talents and end up in dead-end jobs. How is it that some people have so much talent it's bursting out of them, some have none, some are discovered, some aren't, some lead meaningful lives and most of us lead petty lives. Not to say that material possessions, wealth and fame give people meaning, but I guess they kind of do.
Thanks,
ak
Regards to loss of our loved ones: this physical world is a dance of the opposites. Birth and death are two sides of the same coin. The journey neither begins with physical birth nor does it end with the separation of the soul from the body. Its not a easy pill to swallow but it is a realization you dawn upon from the inside once you walk long enough on this road to awakening.
Regards to talent and unfulfilled lives: all of us have the potential to become the very best in our chosen fields. To make a difference. To change the world. But not all of us are willing to do the enormous amount of hard work and exercise the discipline thats necessary to be GREAT! Nothing is random. Where we are in life is always the summation of all the decisions and actions we have taken throughout our lives. Very few people are "bursting with talent" when they are born, and even those have a hard time dealing with that talent… for the rest of us, its story of having a dream of a treasure somewhere deep within us, then believing in it when everyone laughs at us, then taking one step at a time each day, everyday, sharpening, polishing, rearranging, trying, failing, starting all over again, failing, polishing even more and then one day… somewhere in the distant future… get a glimpse of the diamond that we always believed in buried deep within our heap of charcoals.
Most people are much happier to watch CNN and sports channel 4 hours a day and complain how life is unfair. Its so much easier to do so you see!
My belief is that enlightenment is a state and you would know when you are there. The complete enlightenment occurs after death and possibly it is a state beyond energy and beyond form. It does not change or wander along for it is not born in a form There is neither light nor darkness as it has no form, hence no radio active residual particles. I trust one may able to achieve this state amidst temptation or in seclusion.
Everything we experience is meant to return us to the "Truth" of who we are.
It's already there and always has been, "The Kingdom of Heaven is Within"
The World is a stumbling block and at the same time our greatest teacher. It's meant to reflect areas where we still aren't seeing correctly, areas that need Healing. In that process we "Remember" the truth of who we are, Divine Spiritual Beings. It is so Perfectly Orchestrated that you know there is a Higher Power. When you are in the "Flow" of The Universe, Nature, Your Higher Self, all that ever has been or ever will be< you know it, you feel it and you never question again!! Thank You Shafin for causing us to question and think!! Love and Peace Sally
m.rasheed khan. Enlightenment is real and not myth when we see present period of time where we live and spent life ,the objective is before subjective and present became past in every moment of time and our nature of thoughts changes with the change of nature, how we can say that enlightenment is perfact in changing the physis of life and theire objects. Thans to readers
Enlightenment is the state of mind for spituality and dynamic changing world to day. There are many rules and believes that must be follow in order to be true follower. Enlightenment provide the clear breake through of change in natural and physical way .All the discoveries, envention and physical growth that lead the men to have super power in the real world of to day. thanks for way and reason stated by you are positve thinking to get enlighten ment more power ful.
if you want the life to be perfect you have to believe it is perfect, this mind knows no decease it knows only health I am health, remember your thoughts are your reality, create your reality by your thinking and we do, whether we know it or not that is a fact, shafin you told me that???
thanks for the information
Hello Shafin,
man this is the deepest, yet sensible and practical information that i have ever received from anywhere or anyone.
You are truly a great and patient teacher. Not saying that everybody who read this stuff is going to get it and be enlightened and manifest their dreams, not even sure if i am. But beyond Law of Attraction stuff and anything else i've ever learned, i now understand and truly believe with every core of my being that we really are creators of our own life and reality.
Thanks a mil Shafin, just a couple weeks into your teachings, you have already change my life by changing some of my perceptions.
Kenan

Great day Shafin…thanks for that thought provoking concept u have shared to me…the way i understand it this world really created by God with a sense of balance, that everything is interrelated and correlated to one another and that we play important roles despite how big it is or how small it make a great change in lives of everyone even for the better or for its worst at the end it will always be for the goodness of his plan for all mankind.
Shafin how will u manage someone who is very doubtful to you and throw many misconceptions to you to the point that ur not having healthy environment at all?…hope you can share a very good thought for me to conquer and manage this situation…God bless and more power to you!
I was awakened by getting the answers I needed from God and was able to understand "my world". The last thought was "All is one". You are a part of the one as a cell is a part of you. The physical feelings you get in you brain and over your head after your enlightment is the thing that makes me go back to the enlightened state even if I sometimes struggle with the world around me. Your problems become so small when you get the higher perspective. The reason for this life is to grow and unfortunatly some people have a long way left and is hurting. I don't see the finished god as both good and evil. The finished god is only good. The part that is already enlightened is a teacher that is trying to make you listen and understand. The evil that is being done is just peoples bad behaviour or reaction to pain and fear from that don't understand yeet what they are.
God is evolving just like us since we are evolving. Also the society will evolve just like a human and become better and better mostly. Sometimes you will go backwards a life, but since you have all time in existance you will have the time to understand. Please choose to go forward with good karma if you can. Just try to give a smile to everybody and listen to people around you and try to help them if you can. The thing you must understand is that the real you is the conciousness that controls your thoughts and behaviours. Its up to you to program yourself how you wanna think and behave. I still have some programing to do but sometimes I just let myself run on autopilot to see how I act. Find the way that wakes you and think criticly. Good luck.
I'm so grateful, thank you.
Life is a two-way street. On the right side, you have the material world. On the left side, the spiritual world. Both walk hand in hand.
The material world is necessary to sustain and protect ourselves from sickness and unsecureness through food and shelter. The spiritual world is important to cover and hold ourselves from loneliness and uncertainty through sadness and despair.
If one finds within oneself how to fulfill the loneliness and uncertainty while walking through the two-way street, you will discover yourself protected, secured, happy and certain.
Perhaps what we refer to as enlightenment is of a vision only. A vision of the truth of all included, alive and loved, and a vision of the truth of a separation from this, and a vision of the truth of all love and life still moving freely through all that is separated. And indeed, it could be that some awake from a dream to never dream again, and some fall straight back to sleep with a memory of the vision obscured, and some of these make audio and video tape recordings of their perverted and fading visions….
someone asked a guru what happened to him after enlightenment
Guru replied before enlightenment I used to get up and used to go to river to bring water, and after enlightenment I get up and I go to the river to bring water
